Ecuador Update July 22, 2011

Thursday was another beautiful day with the Lord. We ministered again to the ladies home church. Each shared how Holy Spirit ministered the day before. It was a beautiful time hearing how these ladies were changing and the strength Holy Spirit was giving them. You could see such a difference in the faces, especially one who had such a garment of sadness on Wednesday and now a garment of joy. We took them into the Word in Exodus 20:2-4 and James 1:6-8 and stated if they continue to have one foot in Christianity and one in Catholicism the unstableness and confusion it will bring to all areas of their life. They were also instructed they needed to do a spiritual cleaning in their homes. We are not to have any graven images. It was up to them to make that decision, we just presented the Word and told them Holy Spirit needs to bring the conviction. We then had a time of sharing around the kitchen table with some delicious Ecuadorian food and yummy dessert.
In the afternoon we imparted on baptism and explained why they needed to be baptized, even though they were baptized as an infant under the Catholic garment. Again the Word of God brought conviction. One lady who had never given her life to Christ was broken and accepted the Lord. Again we left it up to Holy Spirit to bring the conviction as to whether they should act upon the Word and be baptized in their new faith in Christ.

Thursday night we ministered in one of the home churches of Pastor Alberto's church. Scott asked the question "What is an apostolic-prophetic church? He then shared from the Word and explained the five-fold ministry and how each office operates in the home church. There were several questions asked and it was a good time of revelation for all who were there. We then had some seafood appetizers and delicious chocolate cake. We are really getting spoiled!

This evening we will be giving the last part of the marriage workshop to our ABBA home church. There will be 5 couples. We are surprising them with a candle light dinner atmosphere, serving them an Italian meal. We have roses for each of the wives. We also have chocolate fondue for a romantic chocolate-covered strawberries appetizer. Can't wait!
