Monday evening the Lord led Scott to impart on "walking in the Holy Spirit" and how most Christians walk with a limp and the importance of getting out of the way so Holy Spirit can move through us. He shared how this mission trip has stretched him and how his preconceived thoughts were getting in the way of Holy Spirit doing what Holy Spirit wants to do. His testimony brought conviction and many came to the altar asking the Lord to take the "limp" out of their walk with the Lord.
Yesterday was a beautiful time with Holy Spirit. We spent the morning and afternoon with Patricia's (Pia's sister) home church. These ladies come from a background of Catholicism. The morning was spent building relationships with the ladies. Each gave a brief testimony about themselves and their struggles with their husbands not being saved. Scott and I shared our testimony. The Lord used both of our testimonies to touch the women because they could related to my testimony and they could relate to Scott's as he shared how he treated his first wife before his deep encounter with Jesus and how he was delivered. We had lunch together and then in the afternoon Holy Spirit led us to impart on their position for this season and that was to be like a Mary, and be at the feet of Jesus. We then spoke about the Deborah anointing and that was the garment they were to put on as they positioned themselves at the feet of Jesus. We removed old garments in the spiritual realm and then Pam, Summer and Yvonne prayed for each of the eight women present, declaring the garment and anointing of Deborah be upon each lady present.
Last night was a powerful time in the Spirit of the Lord. The message on Idolatry being the open door for adultery was a very tough message to bring. There was a strong fight in the spiritual realm, but the victory was the Lord's. The Word brought conviction of physical and spiritual adultery. At the end all were broken by Holy Spirit and repented of their idolatry.
After the time of ministering we all went to the home of a brother and were treated to a late night dinner with all the church. It was a beautiful time in the Lord, building relationships, talking, sharing, and being family. We know that many wonderful things are going to take place in this church family. The Lord has placed a burden in our hearts for this church family. Please pray for them; that the Lord would continue the transformation He has started and that His will would be completed.
Blessings and Shalom,
Scott and Pam
