Report From Ecuador July 14, 2011

Blessings from Ecuador! The move of Holy Spirit continues to amaze us every day! All this week we have been ministering to couples in their homes. Every place the Lord has taken us Holy Spirit has ministered His healing and deliverance. As we have ministered the Word, and confronted issues in the lives and marriages of the couples, Holy Spirit has brought conviction and healing. It has been amazing to watch as the Word of God has been presented how Holy Spirit moves in the hearts of the people and the spirits of machismo, Ahab, rejection, unforgiveness, and abuse just melt away. As the Word is shared, and relationships are established through Holy Spirit the manifestation of God's presence becomes so strong that the spirits just flee. We know they have left because there have been tremendous fruits, for His glory.

One couple had a problem where the husband had verbally abused his stepson, his wife's son, and he was directed to go and ask forgiveness. The conviction of Holy Spirit was so strong that he couldn't wait and the very next day he went to the stepson and asked forgiveness. As he opened his heart, and shared with the stepson there was healing. Another example is when we met in the home of a brother and sister. As we talked the Holy Spirit began to show us a deep, but hidden spirit of machismo coming from his father. As he was confronted by the word he made the statement "I don't have a spirit of machismo; that was in my father, but not me." As the Lord began to point out areas in his life, through the Word of God, Holy Spirit brought such conviction on his heart that he was broken and you could see that spirit of machismo melt away. We later talked with his daughter and she testified how she could see a very distinct change in her father, and also in her mother. She now recognizes that Jesus is real and that He is the One that is changing her parents. Praise God!

Today was a beautiful blessing. We were directed by the Lord to minister to the "widow among us." He took us to the mother of a dear sister of the church and the presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong among us. We were led to offer a tzadekah to this widow and an open heaven of healing was present. The Lord ministered to the widow and her daughter where each asked the other for forgiveness and deep healing, especially in the daughter, was manifested. The daughter of the widow was set free in many areas of her life and we believe there is a great healing of the mind for the widow. God has a special place in His heart for the widow and orphan. When we walk in obedience to His Word, the blessings overtake us. It was a tremendous blessing to watch as God's healing anointing was poured out of these two woman who have both suffered so much.

The biggest thing the Lord has been teaching us on this trip is the healing and revelation that is released through the relationships. Church does not have to be a big building, full of programs, and huge performances. Church is about family, our family in Christ Jesus. When we take the time to listen to Holy Spirit, and listen to the hearts of those He takes us to, He will bring His revelation and healing. There is a deep work of the Holy Spirit that happens when we are family and share in relationship with one another. This is church the way God intended it to be. The large meetings, where we all come together to celebrate are important, but in the small, family relationships, there is a healing and anointing that cannot be found in the large celebrations. It is so beautiful. That is why Lord Jesus gave us the example of "eating with sinners", so we would "go and do likewise." It's time we put aside our ideas of what church "should be" and start acting the way "church needs to be."

We bless the Name of the Lord for allowing us to be witnesses to His ministry and for allowing us to be a part of it. all the glory to Him, in Jesus name. Amen.

Blessings and Shalom,
Scott and Pam.
